Recycling Points

Paper and packaging recycling points

waste and recycling

On street recycling points for packaging and paper are available in residential areas where there are mostly tenements.  Find your nearest recycling point in our online recycling point directory.

Packaging points are black bins with a green lid where you can recycle all types of plastic bottles, cardboard drinks cartons, cardboard, clean aluminium foil, empty aerosols, food tins, cans and envelopes.

Paper points are black bins with a blue lid where you can recycle newspapers, magazines, unwanted mail (not envelopes), shredded paper, telephone directories, wrapping paper (except metallic or glittery) and other types of white paper.

For more information please download our how to recycle using paper and packaging banks guide.

Anything you put in recycling points that cannot be recycled will be sent to landfill.
