Preparing for an HMO property inspection
The Scottish Government has issued new Statutory Guidance for Local Authorities on the Licensing of Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO).
The guidance has introduced some changes to the existing benchmark standards. We are conducting a review of our HMO standards with a view to determining how these should be amended to take account of the new guidance.
Applicants are advised to check our webpages for information on the revised standards and a likely timescale for their introduction.
