Council Property and Land Ownership

The Estates Research team can answer queries on Council owned property and land.  We compile and maintain records of the Council's heritable property interests, consisting of all properties owned, leased or used by the Council, to assist in the management of those properties.  Our records consist of computer-based GIS maps, various databases, title deeds, lease documents and photographs.

When you contact us, it would be helpful if you could provide the precise location of the land/property concerned.  Ideally, we require an exact address to include property name or number, road or street name.  A sketch plan of the location of the property/land in question is equally useful.  Having this kind of detail will make it easier, and quicker, to respond to your query.
