A lot of help is available now for you to continue to live at home. If you are sure that you need more care than this, information and advice can help you choose a care home.
- Care Information Scotland provides helpful information and pointers on what to look for.
You can find residential and nursing homes in Edinburgh using our care home directory where you can search by keyword and / or postcode.
Alternatively you can use the Care Search website to find care homes in and around Edinburgh, then select the ones that interest you and print off an information pack.
Your needs will have to be assessed if you are applying for funding of your care home fees. We will help you understand the cost of care homes including fees, free services, charges and legal matters.
If you need care and support, ask Social Care for advice or to assess your needs.
