Edinburgh Programme ¦ Glasgow Programme

In 2004 the City of Edinburgh celebrates the 40th anniversary of the twinning agreement with the City of Florence. In November 2002, the Scottish Executive signed a Co-operation Agreement with the Regional Government of Tuscany, highlighting the intention to collaborate in various areas, including culture, creativity and education and economic development. To mark and strengthen these parallel relationships, a Spring to Autumn collection of events has been organised in venues across Edinburgh and Glasgow. They include exhibitions, football, wine and food, arts and crafts, performance, fashion, horticulture and commercial collaboration.
