16 April to 19 June THE ENCHANTED LAND: PUCCINI’S LANDSCAPES, LIGHTS AND COLOURS

More than 80 paintings, by 19th and 20th century Tuscan artists, capture the landscape of Garfagana and Lucchesia whose beauty was praised by Ruskin, Shelley and others. A section of the show focuses on landscapes of Garfagana by John Bellany, the renowned Scottish artist living in Barga.

Mitchell Library, North Street, Glasgow.

Open Monday-Wednesday 10am-6pm, Thursday 10am - 8pm, Friday and Saturday 10am - 5pm. Admission free.

20 June to 4 July GRAN SERA: ITALIAN FASHION 1950 -1980

Sixty evening dresses by famous designers, including Emilio Pucci who attended the first post-war fashon show organised in Florence in 1951.

The Lighthouse, 11 Mitchell Lane.

Open: Monday and Wednesday to Saturday 10.30am - 5pm, Tuesday 11am - 5pm, Sunday 12noon - 5pm. Admission free.

7 to 21 August CARRARA TO GLASGOW

An exhibition of paintings and marble sculpture by artists from five countries working in Carrara.

RGI Kelly Gallery, 118 Douglas Street.

Open Monday - Friday 10.30am - 5pm. Saturday 10.30am - 1pm. Admission free.
