Edinburgh City Region Economic Review
An Edinburgh City Region Economic Review has been undertaken to inform the new Strategy. The Review provides commentary on the City Region's past economic performance, considers prospects for future growth and also areas for further research. Theme papers went out for public consultation from late June to 16 September 2011 with feedback being used to produce finalised papers.
The Economic Review is now complete and consists of six theme papers covering the following topics: Economic Context and Performance; Skills and Employability; Productivity; Jobs and Investment; Enterprise and Innovation; Economic Futures; and a Summary paper. View the Economic Review theme papers.
View the FAQs for more information on the Review and Strategy and the process.
As part of the process of writing the Economic Review and Strategy a consultation process has been undertaken. Details can been found in a short Consultation Report.
