Notice of intent to begin work under Building (Scotland) Act 1959 & 1970

A notice of intent to begin work is required by Building Standards. You must advise them of the date on which work commenced, within seven days of that date.

Application for Confirmation of Completion Service

If your warrant has expired or if an extension to your warrant has been refused you may want the Council to tell you if the work is completed satisfactorily

You can apply for the minor unauthorised building works carried out between June 1964 and 30th April 2005 to be checked by Building Standards
