How do I become a Panel Member?

Panel members are volunteer members of the public from all walks of life appointed by Scottish Ministers on advice from local Children's Panel Advisory Committees (CPAC). Around September each year there is a recruitment campaign in the press and on TV and Radio to heighten awareness and attract suitable applicants from as wide a field as possible. Members must either work or live in the area in which they serve thus underlining the Scottish tradition of care and justice at local level.
