Married with one child. Born on 7 March 1940 in Berezkiny, Kirov, Russia. Korolev Design Bureau Graduated from Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography, 1969. Candidate of technical sciences degree, 1985. Doctorate of technical sciences degree, 1990. Civilian Engineer, Energia NPO. Rector, Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography and Institute of Aerophotogrammetry. Spaceflight Log.

12 March 1981: (Soyuz T-4) Flight Time: 74.73 days.
6 June 1985: (Soyuz T-13) Flight Time: 168.16 days.
7 June 1988: (Soyuz TM-5) Flight Time: 9.84 days.

Viktor has been decorated twice as Hero of the Soviet Union.
