Gareth Hoskins

Gareth Hoskins Architects has become well known for imaginative work through a series of major competition wins, including the redevelopment of the Royal Museum in Edinburgh; the Architecture galleries at the V&A Museum in London; ‘The Bridge’ arts centre in Easterhouse, Glasgow; and Culloden Battlefield’s Visitor Centre for the National Trust for Scotland.

Gareth has won many prestigious awards including ‘UK Young Architect of the Year’ and ‘UK Young Architectural Practice of the Year’ both in 2000, and the prestigious ‘Health Architect of the Year’ at the national Building Design Awards 2006. In 2007, The Bridge Arts Centre won a ‘RIBA Regional Award’, a ‘RIBA National Award’, the ‘Best Public Building’ and ‘Architecture Grand Prix’ at the Scottish Design Awards along with Gareth receiving a commendation as ‘Architect of the Year’.
