The Hawthornden Lecture theatre at the Weston Links sits on The Mound, which connects the Old Town to the New Town in the heart of Edinburgh. It is located between the National Gallery of Scotland and the Royal Scottish Academy Building, just off the middle of Princes Street, overlooking the railway station and Princes Street gardens.

Entrance to the lecture theatre is via the Princes Street Gardens entrance.

Bus
Catch any bus to Princes Street.

Train
The Gallery is a 5 minute walk from Waverley Station.

Parking
Limited meter parking is available nearby.

Facilities for people with disabilities
Disabled access is through the back door of the Royal Scottish Academy Building (car parking available, with ramp access). Lift access is available from the back door to the lecture theatre.
