Housing Management - Service Standards
Where you live
-
We will allocate a sum of money to each Housing Area Board who will decide how this is spent on estate improvements.
-
We will provide a Community Concierge Service in identified areas in a planned manner.
-
We will provide a highly visible presence within the area by patrolling the neighbourhood on a regular basis to reassure residents and provide a prompt response to incidents and enquiries.
-
We will consult with police and residents at least three times a year to identify problems with crime, disorder, vandalism and other antisocial behaviour. Where appropriate, we will consult with local businesses on these issues as well.
-
We will improve the quality of the environment by carrying out regular estate inspections, taking appropriate remedial action, including making sure empty properties are secure
-
If necessary, we will hold regular Housing Officer Surgeries in your area.
-
We will enforce tenancy conditions and deal with antisocial behaviour promptly and effectively. This means that we will respond within 24/48 hours, depending on severity. For less serious issues, these will be responded to within 10 working days.
-
If you are the victim of antisocial behaviour or harassment, we will work with other agencies to support you. This includes tenants who are willing to be witnesses. In particular we will try to ensure your safety.
-
We will gather evidence and make use of all appropriate legal remedies available against people causing harassment or antisocial behaviour wherever possible. With some antisocial behaviour cases, it may take a long time to resolve these fully because of the legal process but we will keep you informed of progress.
