The aim of Working Together is to keep children and young people with their families, in their local school and in their local community
Achieving this goal will mean a reduction in the number of children:
Working together in partnership
The development of Youth Strategy policies has emphasised the importance of supporting children and young people through a multi.agency partnership approach. This has been developed for secondary aged pupils through the School Liaison Group (SLG) process and through the development of support services such as Panmure House and the Woods Education Support Service
These services have principally focused on the partnership between social work, education and health.
Workingtogether
will provide opportunities to develop further these already strong links and to develop new relationships with a range of voluntary and community organisations.
New and exciting developments are being piloted with Barnardo’s and
