You can either object or support or even just make comments and we will take your views into account when we determine the application provided they are material planning matters. You can do this by viewing Commenting on Planning Application .
You can make comments on-line by viewing the Planning and Building Control Portal and Go into view planning applications online and put in the planning application number under Application Search. If you are not sure what the application number is, you can search by property address. Click to view the application and at the top of the screen you will see a link which allows you to submit your comments online.
Please note that the ability to submit comments is time sensitive whether online or by writing to us. We will allow 21 days from the date of registration for comments on applications that are not advertised or have a site notice. If the application has been advertised or has had a site notice put up, you have 21 days from the date of advert or site notice. Click on Important Dates to find out when you must comment by. You will be unable to comment online once these dates have expired.
Your on-line comment will be registered
and taken into account in the normal way and you will receive notification of
the final decision.
Please note that your comments cannot be treated in confidence as they form part of the public record of the planning application. In addition, your comments will be published on the Council's website. This will take the form of your original letter or a standard form if you made your comments online. Care should therefore be taken with the information you provide: anonymous comments will not be taken into account.
