A
report on Edinburgh Standards for Sustainable Buildings was approved for consultation by the Planning Committee on 12th January 2006.
The report demonstrates how sustainable development may be improved in the Edinburgh context. It proposes a series of guiding design principles and specific development requirements depending on development size and type which will need to be addressed and incorporated in future applications for planning permission. As part of the consultation process views and comments are welcomed from interested individuals, groups and organisations. Please respond by the end of March 2006.
