Raise your glass to Edinburgh's brewing history

A programme of talks and walks has been introduced as part of an exhibition celebrating Scotland’s brewing heritage.

The 'Raise Your Glass!' display at the Museum of Edinburgh, featuring artefacts and information from Scotland’s brewing past, is free to visit and open until 25 June 2016.

The new series of complimentary Old Town walks and talks will serve to remind people that the Scottish Parliament at Holyrood in Edinburgh is in an area once renowned for something else – beer.

Talks with brewing expert John Martin will take place at the Museum of Edinburgh and organised walking tours, highlighting where breweries existed and telling their history and fascinating stories, will start from outside John Knox House.
