Bus lane camera in operation at the Shore

A bus lane enforcement camera is to begin operation at the Shore in Leith on 3rd August.

The camera is located at the Sandport Place end of the Shore. The eastbound bus lane operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Only buses, pedal cyclists and emergency service vehicles can drive in this lane. Taxis are not be permitted. 

Yellow advisory signs are in place, informing driver of the restriction and the commencement date 

Drivers risk a £60 fine if they drive in the bus lane during restricted times. However, warning notices will be issued during the first two weeks of operation, with a further week before fixed penalty notices will be issued.
