MoonWalk road closures this weekend

Thousands of walkers will take part in the annual MoonWalk in Edinburgh this Saturday, 13th June, as the fundraiser celebrates its 10th birthday in Scotland.

The event features four challenges which will see participants walk 52.4, 26.2, 13.1 or 6.55 miles around the city to raise money for breast cancer charity Walk the Walk

A number of road closures will be put in place from 10.30pm to facilitate the routes, which will stretch from the start in Inverleith Park as far as Portobello, Granton and Holyrood.

Amongst the closures in the city centre will be the Mound, the High Street and Market Street, with other closures including Ravelston Dykes and West Shore Road.

A full list of road closures and restrictions is available online.

Lothian Buses will be providing a special service number 9 to transport walkers and spectators to the start and finish lines.
