Summer nights at the Ross Theatre

The line-up for the Magners Summer Nights festival at the iconic Ross Theatre has been unveiled by event organsiers.

The line-up for the Magners Summer Nights festival at the iconic Ross Theatre has been unveiled by event organsiers. The music festival will run in Edinburgh for three nights between 26-28 August 2015. The line up will be: • James – Wednesday 26 August • The Flaming Lips – Thursday 27 August • The Waterboys – Friday 28 August Mark Mackie of Regular Music said: "Building on the success of the 2014 Magners Summer Nights, we are delighted to be returning to the beautiful Kelvingrove Bandstand for another year. 2015 will see us travel east to Edinburgh where the Ross Bandstand will also play host to a series of unique Magners Summer Nights concerts during the world famous Edinburgh Festival Fringe." Councillor Richard Lewis, the city’s new Festivals and Events Champion, said: “In the heart of Princes Street Gardens and against the backdrop of Edinburgh Castle during festival season, The Ross Theatre will be the ideal site to sit down and soak up the sounds of the Magners Summer Nights festival. Edinburgh’s line-up features established acts that will appeal to all ages, and across the three nights ticket-holders will be able to enjoy the sounds of James, sing along to The Flaming Lips, and celebrate the best of the Waterboys at the city’s unique bandstand.” Edinburgh tickets can be purchased from Tickets Scotland, Ripping, Usher Hall, SEE Tickets and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Box Office (only from 7 April).
