Council Leader, Andrew Burns, welcomes latest news on the Old Royal High school.

Evening News article

Cllr Andrew Burns, Council Leader, said: "One of Edinburgh's most iconic landmarks is set to be given a new lease of life. Assuming the plans are approved this would be an exciting development for one of Edinburgh's, and Scotland's, best loved landmarks, particularly as it would bring the former Royal High school back into public use for the first time in over forty years.

“Alongside other majors developments such as Edinburgh St James, Haymarket and New Waverley, Edinburgh continues to demonstrate its ability to attract significant inward investment, crucial to the positioning of the city in Europe and to the creation of new job opportunities.”
