Once in a lifetime chance to watch Team GB Olympic swimmers train at the Royal Commonwealth Pool

The RCP is preparing to play host to the UK's top swimmers for their final preparation camp ahead of the Games.

The Council, Edinburgh Leisure and British Swimming are now offering a unique opportunity for five Edinburgh young people to attend a special media and community session, where they will be able to have their photos taken with Team GB swimmers and watch them training in the venue's world class 50m pool.

The competition is open to young people aged between 12 and 16 and resident in the City of Edinburgh Council area. Simply send us your answer to the following question, in no more than 100 words:

"What would it mean to you to watch the Olympic swimming squad train at Edinburgh's Royal Commonwealth Pool?"

Terms and conditions:

1. Entries must be submitted by 12 noon on Wednesday 18 July 2012.
2. Send your entry to media@edinburgh.gov.uk and remember to include a contact telephone number, your age and address.
3. Competition winners will be notified by email.
4. Winners must be accompanied to the RCP on Saturday 21 July by an adult.
