Free Fringe shows and big band sounds at Festival Square this coming week
Below is a round-up of what's on at Scotland's only Olympic Live Site from 12 - 18 August 2012.
Sunday 12 August Live broadcast of the Olympic Closing Ceremony from 9pm, preceded by free
live entertainment from Edinburgh Festival Fringe acts Fork,
a Finnish comedy pop group, will perform excerpts from their Electro Vocal
Circus show at 6.45pm. Monday 13 - Friday 17 August Motion Disabled: Unlimited,
the 2012 edition of the award winning exhibition and installation Motion
Disabled by Simon Mckeown. The work studies the body and movement of some of the
UK's most famous paralympians and includes large scale inflatable sculpture and
art led iPhone applications. Thursday 16 August 6.30pm: Screening of BBC documentary Song of the Night, directed
by their Head of Classical Music, Peter Maniura.
The entertainment continues at 8.30pm with cabaret from London duo Frisky

Saturday 18 August
7.30pm - 10pm: Charity concert by The Prov Johnstone Band in aid of BBC's Children in Need Appeal. "An evening of raw energy, unbounded enthusiasm and some of the best Soul, R&B and Rock 'n' Roll dance music from the last 40 years."
