Important upgrade to the Council’s telephone network - Friday 5 October 2012 from 11pm

On Friday night important work will be taking place to improve the Council's telephone network. This work will happen from 11pm-1am.

The majority of the Council's emergency numbers, including the freephone Emergency Social Work Service number (ESWS) and Homecare, will be available during this time.

The Council's main out of hours number, 200 2000, and the telephone number to contact CCTV, will be unavailable for up to 1 hour.

If you need help and cannot wait please call Lothian and Borders Police on 0131 311 3131. Where necessary the Police will be able to contact the relevant people within the Council.
