Porty businesses in the spotlight throughout July
To celebrate Independent Retailer Month, the Council is launching a competition to promote local businesses in Portobello.
It features 12 questions relating to businesses on Portobello High Street to encourage the public to interact with shop owners and staff to find the answers.
The competition will run from Wednesday, 4 July to 12 noon on Friday, 27 July. Entry forms can be collected from Portobello Library and all participating businesses. You can also follow us on @edinshopper #portycom and a question will be posted on Twitter each day.
There are some fantastic prizes first, second and third prizes, all donated by the participating shops.
The competition is free to entry, which means there is nothing to lose! So get involved and meet some of Porty's local business owners. You never know, you may uncover a hidden gem!
