Edinburgh Guarantee teams up with O2 Recycle

The City of Edinburgh Council has teamed up with O2 Recycle to raise money for the Edinburgh Guarantee by recycling mobile phones.

Councillor Frank Ross,  Convener of the Economy Committee said, "The Edinburgh Guarantee is making a big difference to school leavers in the city, making sure they have options and giving them the opportunity to build a career in their home city.  By working with O2 we are further helping to support our young people so I would encourage anyone who has an old mobile lying about to think about donating it to this important initiative."

O2 Recycle has supplied plastic collection boxes where you can donate your unwanted mobile phones at all of the city's libraries along with public areas of the following Council buildings:

  •  City Chambers (High Street);
  •  Chesser House (500 Gorgie Road);
  •  Waverley Court (4 East Market Street).

You will find more information on this initiative here.
