Outlook Review
The Council’s new administration has announced an immediate review of Outlook.
The review will look at how the Council communicates with local residents and whether or not current arrangements deliver good value for money.
Council Leader Andrew Burns said:"My own view is that Outlook is out-of-date and expensive. But it is important that we keep talking to our residents - and, more importantly, listening to them. The aim of this review is to make sure we do that as effectively as possible."
The review will be completed over the summer and proposed new arrangements will be put to councillors early in the autumn. It will include an examination of the different ways that information can be distributed, including using technology to give quicker updates on issues.
Surveys of readers have already shown you want more local news and community interaction in the way the Council communicates with you. Those surveys will help inform the review, and the Council welcomes further views.
