New adult education programme launched

Check out our new classes for adult learners:

The new adult education programme for day, evening and weekend classes starting in January 2013 has been launched by the City of Edinburgh Council .

Learn to: paint, play badminton, photography, cooking, belly dancing, dressmaking, languages, philosophy, singing, swimming, woodwork, and much more.

Take a look at the brochure for details of the central Adult Education Programme, and highlights of the Community High Schools' programmes - please contact the schools direct or visit their websites for more information.

Councillor Paul Godzik, Convener for Education, Children and Families said: "The amount of classes and subject matter on offer this year is absolutely fantastic, there truly is something to suit all tastes. Some will see these classes as an opportunity to try something new or take on a hobby but they can also be a stepping stone on to further education or indeed into a new career.

"I would advise anyone who has some time to spare over the coming months to look into what's on offer and to secure your place sooner rather than later."
