Turn up and Get On

People seeking help with getting into work or training can get free advice at a special event at McDonald Road Library, on Thursday 21st February.

The drop-in event, organised by The City of Edinburgh Council's Get On service in partnership with key employability organisations from across the city, runs from 10.30am to 3.30pm. It aims to connect job seekers from across the city with specially trained employability staff.

On the day, there will be:

· CV clinic

· live vacancy stall

· job search drop-in

· information stalls

The event also marks the launch of the new Employability Helpline number: 0131 529 6161.

Everyone is welcome, so come along and find out how the team can link you to the services you need.

Teas, coffees and cake will be available throughout the day. Free goodie bags will be on offer for the first 100 people through the door.

If you have any questions, or can't make the event but need advice about getting into employment, just call the Employability Helpline on 0131 529 6161 or email geton@edinburgh.gov.uk

The Get On programme aims to provide access to information and specialist help about employment, learning, volunteering, housing, health and money matters.
