Tables and chairs on pavements
You can apply for a permit to put tables and chairs on the pavement outside your cafe, bar or restaurant. Permits are available for six or twelve months and run from 1st April until 1st October or for 52 weeks from the permit award date. The cost varies according to the size of the area you want to occupy and whether it lies within the World Heritage Site or not.
