Cremation
Mortonhall Crematoria has two chapels, the Mortonhall and Pentland, accommodating 250 and 50 mourners respectively. Both chapels have religious symbols representing the faiths of Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, San, Sikhs and Tao.
A cremated remains scattering point has been located on the River Almond for the Hindu and Sikh communities.
