Taking on board your views

The major consultation on proposals to improve public spaces and prioritise travel on foot, by bicycle and on public transport in Edinburgh city centre concluded on 7 July 2019.

We received more than 3,000 responses following a widespread awareness raising campaign which included media coverage, online and outdoor advertising, leaflet drops, meetings, public information events and more.

We are now reviewing every responses and they will  inform the final strategy, which will be put before the City of Edinburgh Council’s Transport and Environment Committee on 12 September 2019 along with a fully costed 10-year delivery plan.

Until then, you can continue to view some of the information and artist’s impressions which were being considered as part of the consultation:
