Once you have entered your reference number and contact details, you will then go into a secure site, provided by WorldPay, a recognised world leader in Internet payments.

You will know you are in a secure site by looking at the address bar at the top of the screen. Instead of the usual http://, you will see https://. The 's' means that the site is a secure one.

Your card details will be stored on a secure server at WorldPay. The Council will never have access to these details.

WorldPay makes sure that your details are protected by using encryption. This takes your details and changes them into a coded message so that your details are unrecognisable as they go through the Internet.

WorldPay's public web servers are certified by Thawte, a public Certificate Authority, guaranteeing that nobody can impersonate WorldPay to obtain confidential information.

The only information WorldPay gives back to the Council is the transaction reference number, the amount paid and the contact details you entered in case we have to get in touch with you.

More details are available when you go into the WorldPay website to make your payment.
