How to pay your Council bills

On-line of course! You can pay:

  • Council tax
  • Council house rent
  • Non-domestic rates (business rates)
  • Bills for other Council services

Direct debit
It pays to be direct! You can pay your Council Tax or non-domestic rates by direct debit.

By phone
You can pay most Council bills over the phone using your debit card by calling 0800 783 1719. Please have your Council reference number and card details to hand.

In person
And you can still come in person to these offices to pay any other Council bill:

  • Banking Hall, 249 High Street
  • Chesser House
  • East local office
  • North local office
  • South local office
  • West local office
  • Currie local office
  • Kirkliston local office
  • South Queensferry local office

Please note - the Central Office does not offer a payment facility. Please visit the Banking Hall.

Parking
You can pay your parking fine by phoning 0131 469 5400, by post, or in person at the Banking Hall, 249 High Street.
