Welcome to online payments at the City of Edinburgh Council

It's easy to manage your Council bills on-line by using this new service!

At the moment, you can pay your Council Tax, Council House rent, business rates (non-domestic rates) and bills for other Council services (Service Accounts). When other services are added to this list, we will publish this on our web site.

When you are using this service, you need to have at hand your Council reference number and the card you want to make payment with.

Please note that at present we can only take payment by debit cards. If you used to have a Switch card and this has been replaced by a Maestro card, you can still pay by selecting the Switch button on the payment page.

Direct debit
It pays to be direct! You can pay your Council Tax or non-domestic rates by direct debit.
