The website's design includes a number of accessibility options

Browser options

You can choose the look and style by which you view webpages. On your browser you will find the options in your menu bar, which allow you to specify the font size and remove background and font colours.

The website is usable on any browser, including text-only and aural browsers. We have also removed the need for javascript for navigation, although this is in use for form validation.
Ideally users should use IE5.5 or above, Netscape 6.0 or above, Mozilla, Lynx, Konqueror or Safari, and the site is usable on Windows, Macintosh and Linux platforms.

Languages available

A quick conversion to four languages - French, German, Italian and Spanish are available through this translation page.

The Interpretation and Translation Service (ITS) provides interpretation and translation facilities in approximately 40 community languages as well as Braille, tape, large print and British Sign Language.

You can access the service only through any Council department, the Health Service or any voluntary organisation.
