Th!nk @bout Edinburgh
The City of Edinburgh Council is co-sponsoring the Th!nk @bout Edinburgh project, at £20,000 per annum, over a three year period.
This project involves the operation of Ford Th!nk cars in the Edinburgh area. The Ford Th!nk car is two seat, battery electric and can be recharged from conventional 13 amp sockets. Ten organisations are each leasing a single Th!nk car for the first eighteen months, another batch of ten different organisations will lease a car for the remaining eighteen months.
Th!nk @bout Edinburgh is designed to gather information on the use of this type of car in Edinburgh, over a three year period.
The City of Edinburgh Council is itself leasing a Th!nk car during the first eighteen month period, at a cost of £80 per month.
