Richard Hickman CBE, MA (Community and Regional Planning), BA (Hons) Geography, DipTP, MRTPI

Richard joined SEIRU in 1979 and in the course of 23 years as a full-time reporter has dealt with numerous appeals by written submission, hearing and public local inquiries. He became a part-time reporter in 2002 and has most recently worked on the M74 completion project. Before joining SEIRU, Richard worked with SEDD, Planning Services Division from 1969-1978.

Bob Maslin, BA DipTP, MRTPI

Bob has been a part-time reporter with SEIRU since 2002 and has extensive experience of written submission appeals work. Most recently he has worked on the Dundee Local Plan Inquiry. Before joining SEIRU, Bob worked in Midlothian for 27 years, first as the District Council’s Director of Planning and latterly as Head of Regulatory Services for the present Council.
